IC CHARACTERISTICS: Information for players.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Gabriel is actually 6'2" but has a bad habit of slouching, making him seem shorter. He generally has a small demeanor, avoiding eye contact and looking at his hands more than at other people. His nails are constantly bitten down almost to nothing, a fact that embarrasses him very much. He has warm brown eyes, near-black hair, and a lanky build.
DEMEANOR:
At the same time, Gabe’s naivete can become ignorance or intolerance. Due to his upbringing, he is very literal about the teachings of the Bible; he’s a creationist and believes anything but a Protestant Christian lifestyle is a sure way to Satan. As such, it’s likely he’ll say a lot of well-meaning but very ignorant and offensive things along the lines of “You’re a witch? But you look too nice to be a satanist!” or “But you’re so generous for a Jew.” It won’t take long for him to realize how small his world is and adjust his behavior, but in the meantime, he’ll be quoting a lot of the awful rhetoric he grew up hearing.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: He is incredibly jumpy about physical contact, especially from men his age.
FLIRTING: Nope. It terrifies him. Do so anyway, but be aware.
RELATIONSHIPS: Hahahaha no.
HOME INFORMATION: He currently occupies Mira's guest room.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Gabe is incredibly sheltered and as such pretty much anything than a fundamentalist, creationist viewpoint is offensive to him. Gabe, himself, will be the source of a lot of antiquated and offensive remarks about race, religion, sexuality, and gender roles.
ABILITIES: He has a two-octave range and perfect pitch.
POWERS: Gabriel has a singing range from alto to baritone, something that his family always called a gift from God but is actually his siren talent. He has the power of compulsion and has very sharp ears and perfect pitch tends to project or tune into frequencies around him. If he's overly stressed, glass will shatter. As a swimmer, he can hold his breath for almost two minutes and swim in near freezing water.
SIREN FORM: Gabe's form will be similar to a sea otter. He will acquire clawed, webbed fingers and toes, brown fur, and a tail.
